24-Hour Saunas in Manila

I’m one of those people who needs a weekly steam and sauna to stay sane, so I’ve tried a fair share of spas around the Metro. If you’re like me and want a place that’s open any time, here are some 24-hour spots in Manila worth checking out:

1. Lasema

This is one of the oldest Korean spas in Manila and has been my favorite for more than a decade, starting at the Makati Golf Club before moving to its own building in Sampaloc, Makati.

Sauna & Steam: The best in Manila. They have several saunas with different temperatures, including an ice room, which I love. Just expect it to be crowded, especially on weekends.

2. Emgrand Spa

Similar to Lasema but with a more premium vibe. Great toiletries, and they even provide disposable undies if you’re not comfortable going all out.

Sauna & Steam: Decent, nothing groundbreaking, but the whole place feels fancy.

3. Jjimjilbang Hotel & Spa

As the name suggests, they also have a hotel. A last-resort option if you’re already in Manila, as in Manila. Facilities are fine, but the location feels a bit questionable. Smoking is also allowed in the wet area, which is a major drawback.

Sauna & Steam: Okay overall. Not my favorite, but it’s usually less crowded than Lasema and Emgrand.
